Subiect: Collective Appeal for Reconsideration of the Increase in School Fees

Dear Members of the Board and School Administration,

We, the undersigned parents and guardians of students at the school, write to express our profound concern regarding the recent decision to increase the school fees substantially.

As parents, we recognize and appreciate the school's commitment to providing quality education and understand that rising operational costs may occasionally require adjustments to the fee structure.

However, an increase of this magnitude, implemented within a single review period, is

unprecedented and places an unsustainable financial burden on many families.

Many parents have carefully planned their finances based on the previous fee structure. An increase significantly disrupts these plans and may force some families to withdraw their children, seek alternative schools, or face considerable financial hardship. Such an outcome would be detrimental to both the students and the school community that we have all worked together to build.

We are particularly concerned that a fee increase of this scale appears to have been announced without adequate consultation with parents or sufficient explanation of the factors that justify such a substantial adjustment. We believe that decisions with such far-reaching consequences should be

accompanied by transparency, stakeholder engagement, and a clear breakdown of the costs that have necessitated this increase.

We therefore respectfully request that the school:

1. Suspend the implementation of the proposed fee increase until meaningful consultations with parents have taken place.

2. Provide a detailed explanation of the financial considerations and cost increases that have resulted in the fee adjustment.

3. Consider a more reasonable and phased approach to any necessary fee increases, allowing families adequate time to adjust their financial commitments.

4. Convene a meeting with parents at the earliest opportunity to discuss the matter openly and collaboratively.

Our intention is not to oppose reasonable fee reviews but to advocate for a fair, transparent, and sustainable approach that balances the school's operational needs with the financial realities facing families.

We believe that open dialogue and partnership between the school and parents are essential to preserving the trust and strong relationship that have always characterized our school community.

We respectfully urge the Board and the Administration to reconsider this decision and work with parents to find a mutually acceptable solution that ensures the continued education and well-being of all students.
