Ongoing drama!
This week has been an eye opener. As you know from the start of the petition I was told four weeks ago the support order was being processed with the courts but upon further investigation through making a formal complaint the support order (the document that would give my family regular contact with moko through the court) had been sitting on the legal teams desk at Oranga Tamariki for the past several weeks not at the courthouse which is a two minute walk from Oranga Tamariki. It had been sent back with a simple request being a postal address to send the document too, which in the end was not used as a form of delivery for the document a decision was made after my formal complaint to ring the recipeint to come in and pick up the documents. What annoys me the most about this situation is the the lawyers and the social workers all work in the same open plan office space, sit metres away from each other and it took a formal complaint to trickle down in too that space to find a court document. Because of this delay the support order will not be viewed by a judge until sometime in the New Year. Disappointed, frustrated and annoyed are emotions that are not even close to what I am experiencing now as this lazy, unprofessional practice is the only reason our girls will not be seeing any of us for Christmas.
Yes formal complaints will be made (always).....and most likely another apology to file away with the many others. Yet still no improvement on the organisations practice and behaviour nearly 4 years later.
