Thank you soooooo sooooo much.
I just wanted to say thank you again for taking the time to view/sign/comment about this petition. Times are tough for us at the moment and being able to see how much support we have gives us hope and strength to continue to protest that what is happening to us and others dealing with this department and their abusive practice is not right or fair!!!
Update: After weeks of trying to contact my local MP I approached a couple of human rights advocates (thank you V and K) and told them about my petition which they signed. In addition to that V also contacted the local MP's office herself Yay and that contact resulted in phone, calls, texts, emails etc. To cut a long story short it turns out the support order my family have been waiting 5 long months for (the same document that was promised to us so we could see our babies) that was supposed to be filed in court 3 weeks ago was actually sitting on a staff members desk at you know where. It had not been filed in court as I was originally told.
Today I will continue to find ways to increase the coverage of our petition, draft a media release in the hopes that the media will pick up our story, continue to complain to the justice system, Ministry for Children, Oranga Tamariki, Ombudsman and anyone I can think of. I am also looking at a paper version of my petition and shoulder tapping. Let me know if you would like a copy to share with whanau and friends.
Mila&Azarliya_we love you and miss you sooo soooo much.
