Artez Thigpen is A innocent man who was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to natural life. He has languished in prison for over 27 years for A crime he didn’t commit. Artez Thigpen’s case is centered and based on the misconduct of notorious Detective Kato, the state’s attorneyand based on false statements from state witnesses who were forced to lie against their feee will on Artez Thigpen, A innocent man.

 

One state’s witness stated that the State Attorney showed A picture of Artez thigpen to falsely accuse him and also gave witness money to lie on Artez Thigpen. Two state’s witnesses stated that they were hard drug users, was given money and forced to lie on Artez Thigpen against their freewill. Another state’s witness stated Detective Kato coerced, tortured and forced them to give false statement on Artez Thigpen, A innocent man. All of the state’s witnesses stated that they were scared of the Polices, Detectives and Assistant State’s Attorney in this case because of what was done to them. Detective Kato committed perjury at Grand jury under oath; and State’s Attorney knew it was A lie.

 

Detective Kato has A history of coercing and torturing witnesses for over 40 years. This info can be found and reviewed on the internet or in the following newspapers; Chicago Reader newspaper publication, chicago defender, and Chicago tribune newspaper. Alibi witness stated Artez Thigpen was with Alibi witness entire time and never left Alibi’s witness’ house. There is also other evidence that will prove Artez Thigpen is an innocent man. There is no physical evidence that connects Artez Thigpen to this crime.

In the name of justice, ask our elected officials of the State of Illinois to review the case of Artez Thigpen, A wrongfully convicted man that is innocent of this crime. Artez Thigpen was 21 years old when he was arrested. Now he is 50 years old. He spent over 27 years in prison for A crime he did not commit.

 

This misconduct continued through the state’s attorney officeby corrupt assistant state’s attorney and corrupt Detective Kato who has A history of coercing and torturing witnesses. All statements Are/were falsified by all state witnesses in this case. All state witnesses said Artez Thigpen did not commit this crime and he is innocent The judge was bias and prejudice in this case.

Artez Thigpen’s conviction should be overturned and threw out. We ask for Artez Thigpen to be released from prison. He is Innocent.
