It Takes Two was Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's first theatrically released movie. Before, they had starred in Full House and been in TV Movies such as How the West Was Fun. It Takes Two has been released on DVD and is still available to own. Unfortunately, it was manufactured in the days before Widescreen TV's were the norm. As a result, it was released to be played on regular TV's. It Takes Two was shot in 1.85:1 Aspect Ratio and had to be reformatted to 1.33:1 when released on DVD. That results in picture loss. Even though the movie is available on YouTube, some people prefer to stay with physical media. It would be wonderful if it could be re-released on DVD in it's original aspect ratio so people could see it like it was in the theatre Thanksgiving 1995.
