Gasoline prices have surged in the last month. The Ukraine crisis shows us how much we still depend on foreign oil.  It is true that long term we must develop alternate renewable en0ergy sources. Short-term, however, we must make sure new oil leases are issued and wells that were capped during the 2020 oil glut are uncapped and drilled again.  We need to rely on our own oil supplies more This will stabilize prices and buy us more time to develop alternate fuel sources. The economy needs stabilized gas prices. Let's reopen the wells.
