When Animals Australia exposed the horrific treatment of Australian cattle, Israeli authorities acted quickly and closed down the offending slaughterhouse. This gives me hope. If we can expose the horror of the European Union Live Export trade to Israel to as many people as possible, we can shame Israel into taking action. I have been fighting the European live export trade for almost two decades now. I can tell you it gets worse every year, as new markets are opened up. This is a deeply immoral trade. What makes this trade even more disgusting is the fact the victims of this trade are the forgotten victims, because most Europeans are ignorant of this trade. Only by exposing it and making more people like you aware of this trade, can we fight this trade. Please do not let these innocent calves die in vain.
