Eyad Hallaq was a 32-year-old Palestinian man with autism who was brutally murdered in Jerusalem by the Israeli police. Eyad was on his way to his special needs school when police suspected him of having a gun and shot him dead as he cowered behind a dumpster. No gun was found. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with his murder. We call for the arrest of the police officers in connection and a public apology from the police department renouncing violence against innocent Palestinian people.
