Petition updateWho's responsible for Professional Corruption: Police? Courts? Lawyers? Prisons?
Banks?More horrors for Maurice from his sister

Association of McKenzie Friends
Nov 3, 2014
I have just received a frightening phone call from 'a fellow prisoner' with good English (foreign) who reported that M wanted me to know that his wheelchair has been confiscated (are they going to mend it?!) but this means he cannot leave his cell to attend the medical line up for whatever treatment they are giving him (analgesics?).
Neither can he get to a phone which must be against Prison Rules. Andy Phillips the security governor who is under orders from the MAPPA committee has denied him access to his laptop so that he is unable to continue work on his various legal issues.
As he is now on £4 a week and is denied the use of the free postage scheme to the courts (only allowed when the Prison Inspectorate were on the premises) he is unable to access the courts.
I have tried to phone his Probation Officer at Barry Police HQ but she is never in and never returns my calls. It is impossible to talk to Governor Brian Ward; the only way is by writing.
Will he get any food?
I trust he will still be alive at the end of the week. I will contact the Chaplain who should be there tomorrow and see what that achieves.
With deep sighs and high hopes,
Sabine
