Dear 266 Supporters, Please help spread the petition, email the decision makers or use www.EmailaPrisoner.com to show Maurice your support: prisoner A7306AT in HMP Swansea. This morning a one-off evidence session on Older Prisoners was held by the Justice Committee - with Alun Selous MP as Minister and Michael Spurr, the CEO of NOMS, the National Offender Management Service: http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/justice-committee/one-off-sessions/parliament-2010/older-prisoners-follow-up/ On the occasion I had emailed the Justice Committee: http://victims-unite.net/2014/10/24/dear-justicecommittee-time-to-replace-corruption-with-compensation/ But "we don't deal with individual cases"... What else is 'case law' built on??? This is the letter that Maurice's sister wrote about his appalling prison conditions and never got an answer: Dear Sir, Maurice KIRK A7306AT HMP Cardiff - now HMP Swansea I write as this man's sister and I am again appalled at the treatment the Prison Authorities are imposing on this man who has been unjustly harassed by the South Wales Police for far too long. He has a civil action against the South Wales Police which has been delayed from a hearing because, as a Litigant in Person, he is denied access to Court phone numbers, adequate paper and stamps, ability to talk to a lawyer on the phone in office hours and access to his legal papers so that he can prove the case against the corrupt state of some parts of the South Wales justice system. He was held on remand for many months on false psychiatric evidence and then found not guilty in one case; held again on the same false health record for an assault that was not upheld and now again for a charge which will fail when it goes to court just to keep him from appearing as the appellant in a civil court. The Governor of the Prison is not obliged to get any inmate to a civil court room. I enclose copies of some of his documents of complaint and lack of justice this has entailed. I do hope that in your position you are prepared to ask serious questions about the treatment of this prisoner in your Cardiff Prison. yours sincerely Mrs Celia Jeune Retired Youth Court Magistrate Alun Michael MP Alun Cairns MP Please help in whatever way the spirit moveth you! Yours gratefully, Sabine
