Please support Greyhound Action Ireland and the Irish Council Against Blood Sports' fundraiser which aims to raise €5,000 for a billboard advertising campaign.
The campaign will highlight the cruelty and death inflicted on over 6,000 dogs annually by the greyhound racing industry in Ireland. The ads will also appeal to people not to go greyhound racing. This will, we hope, discourage groups such as hens, stags and work parties from socialising at greyhound tracks.
If sufficient funds are not raised to cover a billboard campaign, whatever funds are raised will be used on other campaign materials, such as protest placards and information leaflets.
