Thank you all, again, for all your efforts in sharing the petition. The nimber of supporters/ signatories has reached 9565. 

There appears to be a misplaced concern, amongst those who own property in Udvada, that the petition seeks to place a ban on sale of properties. This kind of ban can only be done if heritage status is requested for Udvada. The petition is not asking for heritage status for Udvada. The petition is requesting the government to create a non-profit Fund, with the participation of interested private Zoroastrian organisations Trusts and individuals, for the purpose of repairing the existing houses and offering to buy up AT FAIR MARKET VALUE houses from owners who wish to sell their properties. The purchased properties are to be preserved in the original condition and resold to Zoroastrians or converted to holiday homes and old age homes for Zoroastrians. This ensures a Zoroastrian ambience in Udvada. No one wants any situation where Udvada property owners suffer any financial losses.
