With the growth of mass protests all over Iran, the Iranian dictatorship regime has started to oppress Iranian voices by shutting down internet access in all provinces and cities of Iran, and revoke Iranian people's basic human right to free speech and expression of their voice.

The current US and global sanctions against the Iranian oppressive regime caused limitations for Starlink onto granting free satellite internet access for the geographical region of Iran. However, with the request of CEO Elon Musk, on September 20th of 2022 an exemption has been made by US, allowing Starlink to provide and import its equipment to Iran in any way and through any channel.

In the case in which Starlink makes the decision to provide and import related equipment into Iran, Starlink satellite broadband internet access can help Iranian people to show the world the inhumane crimes that are being committed by the oppressive government against innocent Iranian civilians.
