As a three-year-old, I was exploited in the most abominable form imaginable, molested and left in the care of individuals who neither understood their duty nor the vulnerability of my young life. The state agencies and religious institution tasked with ensuring my safety failed, and crucial evidence pertaining to my abuse was either blatantly overlooked or nefariously suppressed during my adoption.

Nestled into a new home, my suffering was far from over. Still bearing the scars of my past, I was now subject to the whims of my adoptive parents, individuals who exhibited disconcerting psychological behaviors and provided little to no support. My childhood was marred by fabrications of mental diagnoses and orchestrated incarcerations, leading to my abandonment at the age of fifteen, forcing me to carve a path in life alone without the requisite tools to do so.

Unfortunately, my story is not unique, as countless victims of child molestation share similar tales of horrors during adoptions. This reality points to an insidious trend that blurs the line between adoption and human trafficking. Moreover, it uncovers potential national security threats, particularly if these adoption networks span across countries and manipulate the system to protect child abusers.

This reprehensible system's extensive compromise calls for immediate remedial measures. I call upon the relevant authorities to hold a Congressional hearing aimed at understanding and addressing these cover-ups. As a survivor who bears witness to these atrocities, my life story serves as a testament to the need for reform.
