Every time I head into a cheer competition, it feels like something is missing. The atmosphere is buzzing with energy, yet it feels flat, and frankly, it gets a bit boring. That spark and excitement are what my team, the Coastal Shining Stars, and I need to really shine this season. We all know that cheerleading is not just a sport, it's a performance, a spectacle. And what better way to raise the energy levels and make cheer competitions an extraordinary event than having fabulous drag queens—famous for their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent—at our competitions?

Inviting RuPaul's Drag Race queens, who are iconic figures in their own right, can bring that extra zing and flair. Drag queens are not only entertainers but symbols of confidence, self-expression, and empowerment. They know how to engage a crowd and turn any event into a mesmerizing show full of vibrant energy.

This initiative is not just about entertainment but also about embracing diversity and inclusion. It sends a powerful message—that everyone, regardless of their identity, has a place in celebrating the art of performance. Having drag queens attend and stay for awards ceremonies would give us cheerleaders additional motivation and inspiration to express ourselves fully and passionately.
