Investigate the USPS for Abuse and Harassment

Investigate the USPS for Abuse and Harassment
The Issue
First off I am not a representative of the USPS or any other organization named herein. This is my account as the events occurred the last 3 1/2 years. I am a Federal employee who has been subject to abuse and harassment at my current USPS location by 2 Postmasters and 2 coworkers over the last 3 1/2 years. I filed complaints with everyone from the USPS to USPS Inspectors, the Office of Inspector General and even several politicians. Everywhere I complained to I was given a blind eye and deaf ear. The USPS has a history of ignoring harassing and abusive behavior by their managers and hold no one accountable. They actually encourage and promote a hostile work environment. On 03/13/2025, I was once again targeted by my current Postmaster. She sent me home for wearing compression socks at work. Later that day I found out she put me on Emergency Placement, suspended without pay, where they are looking to terminate me. I have several coworkers who wear their own clothing at work and nothing is said to them. This Postmaster allowed an abusive alcoholic coworker to continue abusing me at work. For a period of 2 years she was allowed to do whatever she wanted with me. In October of 2024, after being fed up, I reported this Postmaster for not only covering up her behavior but also her drinking on the job and since then this Postmaster has targeted me even more.
Managers at USPS have unchecked authority and abuse of power. They can destroy an employee's career and life in the blink of an eye. My first Postmaster in this office was so desperate to get rid of me she joined in with 2 coworkers, ganging up on me in the office. She also lied to USPS Inspectors that I threatened to kill everyone in my office and purposely committed a federal crime by falsifying usps forms. That is how desperate she was to get rid of me. When that didn't work because USPS inspectors found no evidence of this, she resorted to lying to her manager that I pushed her in order to get into the work building. This was my first Emergency Placement. I complained and warned everyone about her and was ignored by EVERYONE. The USPS inspectors and the Office of Inspector General do not care about employee complaints. Eventually this Postmaster was given a big raise to move to a different office. This is how the USPS "punishes" abusive managers.
My current Postmaster has put me on Emergency Placement twice the last 2 years, 1 for a parking incident in which I parked my own vehicle in the Postal lot. She not only allowed my coworkers to do the same thing, she continued allowing coworkers to park their own vehicles in the Postal lot after trying to fire me for it. She also lied to USPS Inspectors that i threatened her by saying I was "coming after her". This is what they do when they simply don't like someone and want them fired. They put employees on Emergency Placement without just cause, make up lies about them and have them investigated by USPS inspectors for no reason. They cover up for the bad employees in the office, even the ones committing Federal crimes and decide to come after people like me instead.
I'm speaking not only on my behalf but on behalf of thousands of city carriers, rural carriers, mailhandlers and clerks who go through abuse and harassment at USPS. USPS employees need the public's help. The public needs to be made aware of the toxic work environment that is promoted by USPS managers. The public needs to be made aware of how they try to push certain people out the door without any excuse. The public needs to be made aware of the disgusting abuse of power USPS managers have and how badly some employees are treated. Something needs to be done.
Please sign and share this petition on all your social media accounts, asking that the USPS be investigated for ignoring harassing behavior by management and shielding these abusers. Thank you.
