The Issue
The "Land of the Free" is failing its most vulnerable. We grew up wanting to be healers and helpers, yet today, empathy and compassion have been replaced by a "status quo" that prioritizes titles and egos over human lives.
As an advocate for missing and abused children, seniors, veterans, and the disabled, I see the truth every day: The system is the richest it has ever been, yet its failures are staggering. ## Why This Matters
We are told our tax dollars are meant to help the less fortunate, yet the numbers of those suffering continue to climb. Where is the money going?
• Our Veterans: Men and women who made the choice to serve and protect are now told they are "living off the system." While agencies ask for donations, they simultaneously strip away the military discounts and respect our heroes earned.
• Our Children & Seniors: Those who cannot speak for themselves are being silenced. Why are disabled children suffering and losing the quality of life we had years ago? Why are our seniors—who return to a vulnerable state—facing abuse in the very systems meant to protect them?
• The Divide: The people running these government branches have homes, designer clothes, and security to go back to every night. I wonder how it would be if the roles were reversed and the "Haves" woke up as the "Have Nots."
Faith With Works
People call it a "rant" because they don't want you to notice the truth. When you show up in numbers, things happen. I am not just on social media talking; I have the documentation and the "works" to back it up. I have marched, I have saved children, and I have stood in the gap for families. Faith without works is dead. Stop blaming the citizens and start holding the system accountable!
The Call to Action: Who Will Stand?
Everyone knows someone whom the system has harmed. If you have ever felt silenced or overlooked, know this: You are not alone.
I’m starting with the "Man in the Mirror," but I am asking you to stand there with me. We have to make a change because, right now, it appears "They Don’t Really Care About Us." Generation X was raised to be the helpers and the healers. It is time to reclaim that humanity and demand transparency for our children, our veterans, and our brothers and sisters.
