To my supporters,

We see the lists every day: rising homelessness, families going hungry, and children falling through the cracks. But there is a list we don't talk about enough: The list of agencies receiving millions in public funding to fix these exact problems.

As a disabled veteran, I have a Governor’s Referral for housing that has sat unprocessed for weeks. I have filed Superior Court Case MON-L-000269-26 not just for myself, but to ask the bigger question: If the funding is there, why is the help not?

• Misappropriation is not just theft; it’s obstruction. When an agency is funded to provide "stabilization" but forces a citizen into a legal battle just to keep a roof over their head, that is a failure of government oversight.

• Stop Blaming the Victim. The system often tries to blame the citizen for "not following the rules," even when the citizen has 9 active federal and state investigation numbers proving they are the one being ignored.

We are calling for a Full Audit of the housing and veteran services funding in New Jersey. We want to know why the DCA and Social Services can't fulfill a referral when their budgets have never been higher.

It is time to hold the gatekeepers accountable. The money belongs to the people, and the service belongs to those who served.

In Solidarity,

LaShon Anderson
