My lifelong friends and neighbors Kenneth and Stephanie Morrison lost their son to senseless murder at Ware State Prison on May 28th. He died from a stabbing and bled to death because no guards were on duty to render aid. Ware State Prison is overcrowded and severely understaffed, leading to numerous deaths due to the lack of guards. Several victims have been left for dead, drowning in their own blood. We need thorough investigations into these murders and immediate action to find ways to increase staffing levels at the prison. There have been 5 deaths this week alone in Georgia prisons and back in March a Wardon was stabbed. Please sign this petition for justice and safety improvements at Ware State Prison.
