This petition seeks justice for Heather Gillespie's 4 children from 3 different fathers, their families, and taxpayers. Over the years, these fathers and their immediate families have single-handedly carried the financial burden of raising these children, getting no financial assistance from Heather who has shown gross negligence and disregard towards her responsibility.

Heather has been receiving food stamps for the last 3-5 years. During this time, she has leveraged social media platforms, begging for “donations” allegedly to fund her and father number 4's burgeoning drug habit. Most distressingly, she showed total disregard for her unborn child during her last pregnancy, using the child as a conduit to solicit funds for drug use. This indicates a clear misuse of government welfare, which is intended to help those truly in need and not to be exploited for personal gain or illegal activities.

This issue is not unique to this case. According to the Department of Labor, about 30% of child support cases in the country are left unpaid, creating financial burdens for the caregiving parent, and approximately $10 billion in welfare funds are misused annually (Department of Labor, 2020).

We believe that an investigation into Heather Gillespie’s alleged welfare fraud and enforcement of child support payments is not only just but also crucial to ensure fairness for all parties involved, especially the innocent children. It's time for accountability.
