We request that Twitch and relevant animal-welfare authorities urgently review publicly available livestream footage of Hasan Piker’s stream and any related evidence.

The footage shows the dog vocalise after what viewers interpreted as an electronic stimulus. We are not claiming guilt; we are asking for a transparent investigation by Twitch and animal-welfare professionals to determine whether Twitch’s Rules or animal-welfare laws were violated.

While the investigation proceeds we ask Twitch to temporarily suspend or restrict the channel’s ability to monetise or stream live (or place an equivalent precautionary measure) to protect animal welfare and uphold platform safety standards.
