During the investigation The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Nixon had to hand over office tape recordings to government investigators; he eventually complied. Recordings from these tapes implicated the president, revealing he had attempted to cover up the scandal and facing near-certain impeachment, Nixon resigned the presidency. Enter Mr. Cruz. In what can only be looked at as an insult to the intelligence of every American that took U.S. History in the 9th grade, Timothy Cruz took a page directly from Tricky Dick’s handbook, promising a “thorough and transparent” investigation into his own office by an old friend. This will not do. We have a few very easy questions for Timothy Cruz to answer: 1. Did you know about the racist emails that were sent in 2008 BEFORE you used them to discredit defense witness Karen O’Sullivan in January 2015? 2. Were any of these racist and insensitive emails sent to YOUR personal email address or the email addresses of ADA Frank Middleton or ADA Thomas Flanagan? 3. Will you release the hard drives that contain ALL of your staff’s email correspondence to the Department of Justice so they may review them in full context? 4. Have you or anyone in your office ever selectively prosecuted an individual based on race? 5. Have you or anyone in your office ever knowingly held back exculpatory evidence that would have benefited the defendant in any of your cases? 6. Have you ever attempted to intimidate a witness for the defense? 7. Where is the Affidavit that Superior Court Judge Moriarty asked you and ADA Frank Middleton to provide on March 30,2015? Answers to these questions will be the only true measure of the alleged bias and corruption inside the Plymouth County District Attorney's office. An full investigation by the US Department of Justice will reveal: - How many people were tried and convicted for certain crimes. - How much their bail was set at during trial. - What was their sentence was for that crime. - What race these people were. According to the Boston Globe: Timothy Cruz “vowed” to “discuss” a “possible investigation” “next week” with Kevin Burke, “former” employee of the US Government. Kevin Burke, the “former” Public Safety Secretary stated “I’m willing to help to the extent that I can. We just haven’t worked out the details”. Let's STOP there… How do you work out the “details” of an investigation with the office that you are investigating? Did he mean “We the People”?
