Investigate CDER, MARSTON Group Ltd and review bailiff practices
The Issue
CDER & MARSTON Group work across the UK, providing enforcement, debt recovery and related services. CDER, MARSTON and Bailiff companies need to be fully investigated on the way they collect debts and their practices. I shared my experience with the media and they eventually gave me my car back.
Here is my story: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/aug/17/bailiffs-pay-car-impounded-poor-britain-poverty
They continue to increase the debt to make profit.
Councils are using these rogue debt collectors who are causing stress and anxiety to those already struggling to live with the high cost of living.
We need changes in the law to protect people who unfortunately get a debt, like council tax, parking ticket, or Ulez.
To create a level of fair charges and procedures so all debt collector company’s and employees must adhere to.
All debt collectors and bailiffs to be regulated to a high standard.
For the organisations complaint procedure to be completed independently.
For bailiffs and debt collectors to be DBS checked.
A change in the law for Bailiffs and debt collectors not attend your home on a Saturday.
At present CDER & MARSTON GROUP Ltd are not following procedures in terms of dealing with vulnerable people or assisting debtor’s with realist ways of making payments to clear the debt.
The government need to be made aware of what these companies are doing to working class and vulnerable people.
Please help create change and expose the suffering this company is inflicting on people, who want to pay but be fair and understanding to individuals needs, especially during a cost of living crisis.
