We are incredibly proud to share that Emma Willis, the founder of Style for Soldiers, has signed our petition!
Emma Willis has done truly outstanding work supporting servicemen and women who have faced life-changing challenges as a result of their military service.
On a personal level, Emma has shown our family nothing but kindness and unwavering support. She has generously invited my dad, my mum, and myself to numerous events that bring together injured service personnel, their partners, and children from across the UK. These have included wonderful family days out such as Woburn Safari Park, as well as unforgettable events attended by veterans and their partners, held at prestigious venues including the Savoy, Kensington Palace, and Hatherley Manor.
More personally, Emma always invites my mum and dad to all of the S4S events that are held throughout each year and has become a close and trusted friend to both of them. She has supported my dad not only emotionally, but also practically, helping him access walking aids, specialist clothing, and other support that has made a real difference to his daily life.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Emma has done. The events she has organised and welcomed us into have played a vital role in helping my dad cope with the ongoing challenges of his spinal injuries and the effects of PTSD, which continue to impact him to this day. These opportunities have given him connection, understanding, and moments of joy and normality that are truly invaluable to his wellbeing.
Style for Soldiers provides long-term support through smart clothing, regimental walking sticks, career sponsorship, and reunion events for hundreds of injured servicemen and women and their families—individuals Emma met over the years at Headley Court, and who so truly deserve this support.
