The petition has now passed 600 supporters, including parents, carers, members of staff, former pupils, and many others from the wider DGS community. This is an extraordinary and humbling level of support, which once again demonstrates the strength of feeling, engagement, and commitment that exists within the DGS community on this issue.

I will share further updates in due course, including more detail regarding the Board’s current position, the reasoning underpinning it, and any potential roadmap towards the introduction of what remains, in practical terms, a relatively modest (but fair, lawful and desirable) admission policy adjustment.
