Thank you once again for the strong and continued support you have shown for this initiative. The level of engagement from parents, staff, and the wider DGS community has been remarkable, and it has clearly demonstrated that the introduction of Sibling and Staff priority is an issue that matters deeply to many families connected to the school.

I am pleased to confirm that the DGS Governors have agreed to formally discuss this proposal at their next Governors Board Meeting on Thursday, 5 February 2026. This represents an important opportunity to consider a change that many feel would strengthen the sense of fairness and continuity at Dartford Grammar School.

As I will not be allowed to attend the meeting myself, we can collectively ensure that the Governors and the Local Authority fully appreciate the strength and breadth of support for this proposal.
