As a passionate gamer who values the power of communication, I've found that the lack of messaging and calling features on the Nintendo Switch hinders my ability to connect with friends. This is particularly challenging for those without access to phones or tablets, who rely solely on their gaming consoles for social interaction.

The Nintendo Switch has become a popular gaming console worldwide, with over 84 million units sold since its launch in 2017 (source: Statista). Despite this success, it lacks some key features that were present in previous models like the 3DS and Wii U - namely an integrated Friends List app that does not have to be in your profile and communication tools like Swapdoodle and Miiverse.

Adding these features would not only enhance user experience but also promote inclusivity by providing an alternative means of communication for those without access to traditional devices. Furthermore, it would streamline in-game coordination and foster a stronger sense of community among players.

We urge Nintendo to consider integrating a messaging/calling app into the system's interface as well as reinstating the Friends List into an app format similar to previous consoles. By doing so, they can make gaming more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
