The alarming pace at which AI tools are growing in power and sophistication means we must act NOW to tackle the rising problem of AI disinformation and fraud.

Therefore, I urge the UK Parliament (namely the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) in partnership with multi-national tech companies to implement policies mandating that all AI-generated media must be marked with a discernible stamp, whether it appears in Google search results, social media feeds, or content in our emails.

This stamp would serve as a verification signal, enhancing transparency and aiding consumers in discerning what's real and what's been produced by AI.
