Today, representatives from the Justice for Arnie working group met with the Queensland Attorney-General and adviser to discuss the reform priorities that have emerged through this campaign.

This meeting marks an important milestone in the journey of Arnie's Law and would not have been possible without the support of every person who signed the petition, shared Arnie's story, and helped keep this conversation alive.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the concerns that have been raised by the community, the reform ideas that have developed through this campaign, and the potential pathways available moving forward.

The Attorney-General listened to the proposals and concerns put forward and indicated that communication will continue as these matters are explored further. We also recognise that some of the reforms discussed sit within the responsibilities of other government departments, and we will continue working to progress those conversations where appropriate.

Today was an important step forward. It ensured that the voices of this community were heard and that the issues raised through Arnie's Law are part of ongoing discussions.

On behalf of the Justice for Arnie working group, thank you for your support, compassion, and commitment to positive change. Your support has helped bring these issues to the table and has made this opportunity possible.

We will continue to keep supporters updated as conversations progress.

Thank you for standing with Arnie.
