I am very excited to announce that Woolworths have now released their new expanded range of Maybelline Fit Me foundation and Fit Me Concealers as part of a temporary trial!
Whilst it would have been amazing to have the entire range rolled out across the country in-store and online permanently, unfortunately there are a few catches. The trials will be run in Melbourne and Sydney only, online only and for home deliveries.
Whilst this is undoubtedly a great step in the right direction, it is not a complete victory until the shades for people of all skin colours are available all over Australia and in-store as well as online.
We need your help to spread the word about the trial to ensure that people know these shades are now available and to let Woolworths know that this trial is a move in the right direction towards inclusion.
Here's how you can help:
- If your postcode is listed and your shade is available, please consider adding a bottle to your weekly shop as a show of support. The trial postcodes and more information can be found at makethespace.org. You can find your shade match at findation.com or the Maybelline Fit Me Shade Finder at maybelline.com.au. Perhaps purchase a bottle for a friend or family member!
- Share the news of the trial to your friends and family and encourage them to sign the petition and purchase a bottle if they can. The trial postcodes and more information can be found at makethespace.org
- Leave feedback for Woolworths to request that they make the range offering permanent. (You can copy and paste the following message into the feedback form if you prefer: I am writing to commend you on the initiative to extend your makeup ranges for all skin tones for a trial period.
