Introducing a wrestling program to Duval County Public Middle Schools presents the opportunity to instill essential values in students such as physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and character development. 

Importantly, wrestling has been found to build overall strength and endurance while teaching self-control and respect for others (American Academy of Pediatrics).

By offering wrestling, we provide an environment that can positively impact students' lives both on and off the mat.

The school board must recognize this potential a wrestling program possesses for shaping young lives.
