Dear supporters, it was a big weekend for standing adaptive tennis players - the USA Standing Adaptive Tennis tournament took place in Texas. I was so impressed to see the International Tennis Federation sharing a video from the tournament. I think it’s time to directly ask them to sanction this category of tennis - can you help?
In fact, even former world #1, Belarusian player, Victoria Azarenka took to Twitter to hail the incredible talent of differently-abled athletes. Tennis has the capacity to be a sport that is truly inclusive of diversity, allowing people from all walks of life to come together in sport.
In other news at home - Kai had an accident before a national tournament in Melbourne last month and is still recovering from it. I know some more signatures and support for the petition will boost his morale.
