A year later and still no change!

It's been over a year and CD4 is still telling us to be patient. Meanwhile, cars continue to congest the area and speed in and out of the school using Russell Avenue as their only entrance and exit. Now they are asking for community support. The school has done nothing to address this safety issue. In fact, it's gotten worse. 

This petition they are promoting is yet another slap in the face of the residents that actually live on Russell. It has to stop. The City is the landlord. The school lease expired on December 31, 2021! 

The school bus still roars up and down our street, 4-6 times per day and the last trip is around 6:15 PM with 1-3 kids on this full-sized diesel school bus. It sets off car alarms and is not necessary. 

We are asking for your support to put an end to a school that refuses to connect with any resident on Russell. To this day, they have not tried contacting a single resident! 

This entitlement behavior will not be tolerated. We demand to live on a street that is safe! 1400 cars per day is not okay and we need this to end before someone gets hurt or worse,
