10K!! This is incredible! It’s going up so fast it’ll most likely be over 11,000 by the time I even get this out.

Every so often I feel like the average tone of the messages I receive changes.

At first, I was getting mostly other women in sports telling me how supportive and excited they were for the movement.

Then, I had a massive influx of people telling me how shocked they were that this was an issue and jumped on board to help.

Even though I have appreciated every single message I’ve received, this past shift has been my favorite. This past week I have had so many fathers reaching out to me it’s incredible, and they all have had similar things to say,

“I have a daughter who is in sports whom I would love to see have the opportunity to compete in any sport she wants. Thank you for fighting for her future.” <3

I’ve teared up many times this week over these messages.

I dedicate this next round of signatures, from the 10K to the 15K, to those girls. The little girls with passionate, champion, spunky, sports loving, gritty, and tenacious attitudes that one day will have the opportunities that their brothers, fathers, uncles, grandfathers, cousins and friends have.

Some of them probably don’t even have the ability to understand that we’re fighting for them yet they’re so young. And I hope by the time they're old enough to compete it won’t even cross their mind that someone had to fight for their rights- because they grew up in a world where they didn’t have to hear what we’ve had to: “No, you can’t. That’s only for the boys.”

Thank you for all that you are doing. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for fighting. Thank you for signing.

Let’s keep this going for girls – they’re not too far away from being women.
