Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to inform you that the Petition for President Mohammadu Buhari and General Buratai to be charged before the ICC for crimes against humanity has now been received and formally acknowledged by the ICC.  A decision on whether an investigation into the matter will be opened would be made in due course by the ICC and once I receive the decision I will immediately make it available to you by the way of an update on this page.  Once again, I would like to thank you for your tremendous support and your gallant gesture for humanity and justice.
