I plan to get there around 6:00 PM for the 7 PM service. The only security at Verity now is the lone business park guard (unarmed) and the two roof-mounted police security cameras. Judging from Aryan Ryan's verbalized desire to "kill you" (his exact words to me), combined with his abject refusal to deliver on any of his many infantile threats because he is under the watchful eye of cameras ("those cameras are there for YOUR protection, not ours" -- he said), I'm not worried about it. (Ryan is a punk) On the one hand, as I keep reminding Ryan, we are entirely peaceful and not there to hurt anybody, and on the other hand, anything physical Verity's thugs attempt will go spectacularly bad for all of them... and surely they know this. Their only pretense at power is as martyrs -- is to whine about their oppression while they pretend to be standing up for something legitimate and worthy -- so nobody should give them any credibility by attacking them. Ever. Even if attacked. Neither should anyone vandalize their property. This is peaceful opposition, only. This is witnessing their departure. This is not violent overthrow. But they are on the edge -- the verge -- of losing it completely, and I believe violently, so keep this in mind if you intend to show up tonight (or any time in the future) -- they are falling apart and they are getting angry (at the simple fact we refuse to stop protesting) and there's potential they will start lashing out because they don't believe we are people worthy of life. They believe we are wicked -- devils -- and therefore, they believe they are justified in killing us (and I mean gay and straight, alike) They came close to perpetrating violence last Sunday night when we waited an extra 45 minutes for Roger to exit the building. We'll see how their behavior is tonight when we do the same. Hope to see you there!
