Intellectual property is not a joke
The Issue
Thank you for supporting us, and thank you so much for being here.
This petition is not only for us, Loafy and I (@_.minanmia._) who are currently at risk of having our intellectual property got stolen, but it also creates a precedent to confirm our right to protect our designs, works and efforts, as we are small businesses who are at risk the most. The more you let it slide (as much as you love free pattern/designs), the less utility we all get as creators are discouraged and you get so much fewer options to choose from.
The direct aim of this petition is to inform the person she is the one at wrong and ask her to stop her action. The secondary aim to to protect the dignity and transparency in our crochet community.
Down here I’ll give you a bit of story.
There is this person, she uploaded the Milky Cat crochet tutorial by @cozyloafcat without our favourite crocheter's permission.
Later, Loafy asked her to take the video down, she decided to response with "no matter what form you post, I will upload that sample and edit the details."

The person herself claimed to be proud of the fact that she can and will copy and heavily reference any designs Loafy and anyone supporting Loafy ever created.
At this point, she has already uploaded two patterns that she copied the exact design from Loafy and uploaded the video on Youtube. What can we do when we are not even Youtubers which makes it so much harder to report the content?
Hence this petition is also a proof and agreement amongst all of us that the defendant side needs to be protected and can submit to Youtube to kindly ask the platform to remove the video in case they don’t protect the right side.
Thank you so much for having always been supporting us, and we, on behalf of creators in our community, are deeply grateful for your support!
