Hello Folks!

So far 71 folks have signed the petition supporting speed humps, tables or cushions in the neighborhood! Thank you to the many who have voiced their strong support. Remind folks that multiple members/drivers of a household can sign. Lets try for 100!

This is definitely an uphill effort. In sum, it seems that the TE definitions used e.g. 'speeding' (36 MPH) make it VERY difficult to automatically qualify for humps, etc. However, there is no prohibition for speed hump installation at any speed, and clearly speeds humps maintain speed within the 25 MPH limit, which is much safer (see image).

The Sgt. mentioned receiving calls opposing speed humps. You may want to consider calling Sgt. Isleib (the Traffic Sargent) 610-408-3667 or emailing kisleib@tredyffrin.org to share your view with a cc to the Board of Supervisors BOS@tredyffrin.org.
