Petersburn Road has become a dangerous area for pedestrians and local residents due to the lack of speed control measures. Without speed bumps or similar safety devices, drivers tend to speed without proper regard for the speed limit or safety. This puts both pedestrians and other drivers at risk. Speed bumps are a proven method of reducing vehicle speed, thus contributing to overall road safety. Speed bumps has reduced accidents by 40%-60%. By implementing such measures on Petersburn Road, we can reduce the risk of accidents and make the road significantly safer for everybody. 
Petersburn road is the only way in and out of st Dominic’s primary school. There should be speed bumps before and after the school or a speed camera. Let's make safety our priority for the children, pedestrians and other road users – we urge the local authorities to install the necessary speed bumps on Petersburn Road.
