On April 10, 2025, my 21 year old son, Cameron Teasdale, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle crash on Winter Street in Walpole, Massachusetts a road with a dangerous blind hill that many in the community know too well.

Cameron was more than just a victim of a crash. He was a vibrant young man with a future ahead of him, a loving heart, and a life that mattered deeply. The place where he died has become a painful reminder of what we’ve lost, but it can also become a place of awareness, reflection, and prevention.

That’s why I’m asking the Town of Walpole to approve the installation of a memorial safety sign at or near the site of Cameron’s crash. This sign would serve two purposes:

To honor Cameron’s memory and the impact he had on those who loved him.
To warn other drivers of the hidden hill and encourage safer driving behavior to help prevent future tragedies.

We’ve seen too many lives lost or shattered on roads that are known to be risky. A sign like this is not just a tribute it’s a lifesaving reminder.

I am not asking for funding. I am willing to cover all costs involved in creating and installing the sign, and to work with local officials to ensure it’s tasteful, respectful, and placed appropriately on public land.

This is not about blame. This is about love. About visibility. About doing what we can, as a community, to say that Cameron’s life mattered and that no one else should have to experience what my family has endured.
