We need a solution that brings peace of mind and security for the growing community of cyclists in our area.

We are calling on Elmbridge Borough Council to approve the installation of pilot cycle hangars in our streets. Cycle hangars would provide secure, on-street bike storage, significantly reducing the risk of theft. This initiative is not only about safeguarding our investments but is also a step towards promoting sustainable and active travel across Walton-on-Thames and nearby areas such as Hersham.

Cycle hangars have proven successful in numerous other cities and towns across the UK, providing a safe parking space for bicycles and encouraging more residents to take up cycling.
