My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. 

I reached out to the Office of Commissioner Chris Boles regarding the safety concerns raised in these petitions about Boyette Road & Carr Road and in the Waterset area. His staff shared that “the best way for folks to voice their concern would be through our Public Works Department,” and provided their contact number: 813-635-5400.

They also noted that “there has not been anything that has come across our desk regarding that roadway,” and that at this time “the Commissioner doesn’t have a direct comment to make on it due to being unaware.”

Residents are encouraged to contact Hillsborough County Public Works directly (and include their street address) to request an intersection or roadway evaluation. I will continue to monitor this and follow up if Public Works initiates a review or provides additional information.
