🚸 URGENT: Help Us Get a Safe Pedestrian Crossing Near Bloxwich Academy! 🚸

 

Every day, 30% of Bloxwich Academy students must cross a dangerous road near the school without a safe pedestrian crossing. Parents, students, and teachers have witnessed near-misses, and we are deeply concerned that it’s only a matter of time before a serious accident happens.

 

We are calling on Walsall Council to install a safe pedestrian crossing connecting the child drop-off zone and the field path near Bloxwich Academy. This will ensure that children, parents, and other pedestrians can cross safely without risking their lives.

 

Why This Matters:

 

🚸 Children are at risk – Every school day, students are forced to navigate unsafe traffic conditions.

🚦 No safe crossing – There is no designated pedestrian crossing in this high-traffic area.

⚠️ Prevent a tragedy – There have already been multiple near-misses, and we fear the worst if nothing is done.

🏫 Protect families – Parents, carers, and younger siblings also use this route daily.
