Install a real-time display at the High Ash Shops bus stop
The Issue
The 48 bus, which is the service at the High Ash Shops bus stop (45012649) as many local residents know is an hourly service, and buses are often prone to cancellation.
There are many elderly residents in the Wigton Moor area that are unable to use computers or smartphones to look timetables up electronically or use the apps of bus companies. Presently, they will not be able to find out if a bus has been cancelled or is running late, which can be quite daunting and confusing.
WYCA's current criteria for installing real-time electronic bus timetable displays refuses to take this into account, despite the disenfranchising situation this current predicament presents.
Harewood Parish Council and many constituents in the Wigton Moor area consider this a serious concern and would like a Real-Time Display installed, with the type of display for the stop and its costs documented here:
