City of Sydney seeking feedback

City of Sydney are now seeking submissions on the proposal to install this pedestrian crossing.

To add support, write to council@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au with reference  2026/530372. You can copy/paste the following wording, if you like:

"I would like to submit my support for the proposed Pedestrian Crossing at the intersection of Barcom Ave and Liverpool St Darlinghurst. Providing a safe environment for children near school premises is paramount. I am concerned about safety of pedestrians, particularly children, crossing Liverpool Street near the intersection of Boundary Street. This is a busy street, with heavy car and truck traffic. Many parents and their children cross this street in order to get to and from Darlinghurst Public School. Patients from St Vincents Hospital also cross this intersection regularly. It is only a matter of time before an accident occurs.  We have waited for this crossing for over two years and support its timely installation ."
