With the petition close approaching, we are in the final 100 signature countdown to reach the 5,000 threshold required for debate by Council. Although we have not needed this number to bring together the relevant parties in support of a resolution (more news on this will hopefully be released soon), it is a technicality that provides additional weight and leverage to our case.

This petition has been viewed upwards of 65,000 times. It has been shared over 3,300 times. For our community, that is herculean. If you haven't yet signed it, please consider pledging your support before the petition closes on Friday 1st July.
