Many of you have written to me saying that you contributed to the petition thinking that the money would go towards this project. That’s not the case: money collected through this petition goes towards promoting this petition on Change.org and helping us build thousands more signatures. 

Marcus Lemonis has already committed to paying for the flag at Ground Zero, and we are not requesting more funds.
