Revive Rachel Cheng's Instagram account

Rachel Cheng is the victim of racial slurs and harsh criticism because she used her platform at her high school’s graduation to speak out and inform her audience about the discrimination and violence minorities face in this country. At her graduation ceremony, she got the opportunity to write a 6-minute speech to her peers and she took advantage of the platform she had to deliver a speech about racial discrimination. Within her speech, she listed off a group of minorities that she supports, including Latinos, Asians/pacific islanders, and those in the middle east. Within the speech, she said, "militant governments in the middle east" which gained traction from people stating that she was "uninformed about Palestine and Israel." Obviously this is not true as Rachel did not mention any names during her speech, demonstrating that calling out said countries was not her motive. Seconds after she continued her speech, select members of the audience booed her speech while the crowd cheered and praised her for her eye-opening oratory. Since then, many people have mass reported her Instagram account to the point where it got suspended and possibly deleted. Not to mention before the suspension of her account, she was being scolded and profiled under harsh racial profiling and racial name-calling all over Facebook and Instagram by her own fellow peers and the people they are connected to. Rachel Cheng did not deserve any of this.
The goal of this petition is to gain enough traction for Instagram themselves to restore Rachel Cheng's Instagram as her account was taken down due to the mass reporting from several racists and bullies. Her freedom of speech was violated by suspending her Instagram account, which was a horrendous move on Instagram's part for not verifying the situation but rather listening to the mass reporting of Rachel's Instagram. Please spread the hashtag #ReviveRachelChenggg to spread more awareness and spread the link to this petition as well. Together, we can gain Instagram's attention and recover her account, no matter what it takes. A high school graduate should not be subject to this level of harassment and injustice not even 24 hours after her official graduation.
