Let's Unite and Make a Difference! March 7th

Dear Highland Park Elementary Community and Supporters,
Thanks to the collective efforts of all of you, word has spread throughout the Highland Park Elementary community and all around Pitt Meadows. There has been a resounding call for those in leadership to set aside personal issues and instead focus on returning to the original fundraising plan; to raise $165,000 in donations and grants to build a playground on the east side of our school that can be enjoyed by each and every child and their caregiver in our community. Inclusive. Accessible. Fun.
Even better? Six parents from our school got together and fact-checked, producing some compelling figures. I've attached their infographic for your review.
Of all the things I've learned working within the system of the school district, the school, and the PAC these past two years, I can say with true certainty that nothing will change if regular everyday parents like us don't come to the PAC meeting and make our voices heard.
Members of the community residing in the catchment area of Highland Park Elementary School may also attend meetings as non-voting attendees. If this playground is important to you, request permission from the PAC Executive by email to attend the March 7th meeting; pmhighlandparkpac@gmail.com
On March 7th @ 7:00 pm, we need every one of you to attend. Your presence, your passion, and your voice are essential in shaping the future of our community.
Let's show the strength of our unity and commitment. Together, we can make the dream of a playground for all a reality.
See you at the meeting!
With hope and determination,
Jen
