To All Supporters

The Main Decision Maker has now Changed for this Petition:

The Chairperson; Victorian Law Reform Commission; currently The Hon. Tony North KC.

Thankyou to:

The Victorian Attorney-General, the Hon. Sonya Kilkenny for - the Premier's Media Release, 26th  July 2026, "Stronger Dangerous Driving Laws To Keep Victorians Safe", asking the Victorian Law Reform Commission to "review whether our current laws are properly holding offenders to account"; and

The Victorian Law Reform Commission (VLRC) for announcing, 27th July 2026,  that they will "Review the law on serious driving offences in Victoria".

The VLRC will deliver its report to the Attorney-General by 31st March 2028.

Hopefully the report can be completed before then as any amendments to the law would then need to pass through the Victorian Parliament; BUT in the mean-time more cases of Careless Driving involving Death or Serious Injury may occur to Victorians/interstate/overseas road users!

Please Keep Supporting this Petition AND, if you have the chance, Please take the opportunity to be part of the Commission's community consultation process when they call for this.

Thankyou so much.

Our VOICES are being Heard and still need to be Heard.
